Find an example

We have all heard stories of people making poor choices and having those choices be exposed by digital media; of people "doing the wrong thing online."  For example, Donald Sterling's wife recording his racist remarks which ultimately cost him ownership of the LA Clippers and a lifetime NBA ban. Or stories where someone may have been unfairly judged for something that was posted online.
For every "bad" example, there is also an example of people "doing the right thing online," such as the use of digital media in the promotion of the ALS ice bucket challenge.

For homework, find an example of a news story (this means from a newspaper or magazine--print or online are fine) where someone either did or did not do the right thing online. Be prepared to discuss to discuss what you read in class.

To get the best results, please DO NOT just go to Google. Because sometimes things don't go as plan....
So start by searching within this NEWS source:
USA Today

Try using these basic search terms....
texting
sexting (see how a search fail could happen here?)
Facebook
Twitter
Teens
online behavior
social media

Or ask your parents from example, read through other newspapers or magazines.
